Who we are
108.bt is operated by 21 Tech Gelephu, on behalf of Project 108, Gelephu Mindfulness City. It accompanies the raising of one hundred and eight chortens at Gelephu Mindfulness City. This policy goes with our Terms of Service.
What we ask of you
One selfie, up to 10 photos and one video, and one prayer. Nothing else is asked of you.

The camera is used only while you take your selfie. We do not look at your gallery.
What it is used for
- Signing you in, with a code sent to your phone number. There is no password.
- One person, one offering: keeping each person to one selfie, up to 10 photos and one video, their social accounts and one prayer.
- Keeping what you placed until the reveal, and showing it then in the way you chose.
- Your handles let people who contributed alongside you find each other, and let us reach you when your prayer opens.
- Your linked accounts are used for one thing: posting your approved photos to them, if you agreed to it on TikTok.
Who sees what, and when
Only you and the small Project 108 team. Everything stays private until the reveal.
- Until 21 February 2027: everything stays private, and every photograph stays sealed. Whatever you add waits, unseen, until the reveal.
- On 21 February 2027: your photos become public, together with everything else placed at Gelephu Mindfulness City.
- Your social accounts: not shown on 108.bt before the reveal.
- Your prayer: only its first four words are ever shown early (see below).
Other people in your photos
We do not blur faces. Ask anyone in your photos before you add them, and leave out anyone who would rather not be seen.
Your sealed prayer
Only the first four words of your prayer are ever shown early; they stay visible from 21 February 2027. The rest stays sealed for as long as you chose: until the reveal on 21 February 2027, or for 1 to 108 years counted from it. A prayer sealed for 7 years opens on 21 February 2034.
Your prayer is signed with your name, and it is kept until it opens. When it opens, it is shown on 108.bt with your name, as part of Project 108.
What you can change, and until when
Until 15 November 2026, 23:59, you can:
- retake your selfie;
- delete any photo;
- link or unlink your social accounts;
- edit your prayer, and how long it is sealed.
After that, nothing can be changed in the app. A contribution can be hidden from view, and you can still ask for it to be deleted (see below).
On a shared device
If you take part on a device someone else will use next, choose "Sign out" when you are done. Everything on it is cleared for the next person.
Deleting your information
Until 15 November 2026 you can delete any photo yourself, in the app.
To have your information deleted (your account, contact details, selfie, photos and linked accounts), write to us from the phone number or email you signed in with, or include it in your message. We delete it within 30 days, remove the keys to any linked accounts, and confirm when it is done.
Your prayer is deleted with the rest until collection closes on 15 November 2026. Once it is sealed, it becomes part of the permanent record of Project 108 and can no longer be deleted. If you ask, we will stop showing it on 108.bt.
Posts already made to your own accounts are deleted on those services, by you.
Keeping it safe
Your information is stored securely. Sign-in codes are kept only in a protected form, and the keys to linked accounts are encrypted.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (see Deleting your information). Write to us at the address below.

If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before taking part.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and show important changes on 108.bt.
